PPJ Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Star Holding Group, has launched a new factory equipped with a solar cell system, aiming to become a Green Factory. This initiative leverages clean energy to help drive Thailand towards a low-carbon society and sustainable environment, in collaboration with the Thai-German Solar Rooftop Project (GIZ).
The company has installed 3,800 solar panels imported from Germany, covering the factory roof with a capacity of 1 megawatt. This underscores their commitment to being a clean energy factory and reinforces their leadership in environmentally conscious air conditioning manufacturing.
At the factory inauguration, Mr. Pairat and Mrs. Pakamas Uechooyot, Chairpersons of STAR HOLDING GROUP, along with Ms. Benjawan Uechooyot, Managing Director of PPJ Engineering Co., Ltd., and Mr. Wuttikrai Uechooyot, Managing Director of Star (Thailand) Co., Ltd., welcomed distinguished guests including Mr. Nisit Chansomwong, Governor of Nonthaburi Province, representatives from the Federation of Thai Industries, Ministry of Energy, Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency, Office of Public Participation Promotion, German Embassy, German-Thai Chamber of Commerce, German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ), SMA, and BIS ReZeca Co., Ltd., who toured the new facility.
